Chief Master Sgt. Troy Taylor became the 12th state command chief master sergeant of the Ohio Air National Guard during a change of authority ceremony in September at Joint Force Headquarters in Columbus. Succeeding Chief Master Sgt. Heidi L. Bunker, who retired after more than 30 years of military service and nearly three years as the state's top enlisted Airman, Taylor now advises Ohio National Guard senior leadership on matters regarding mission readiness, professional development, proper utilization, health, morale and welfare of all enlisted Airmen and their families.
