Dec. 24—Editor's note: This is one in a series looking at what Northeast Ohio communities experienced in 2022 and what is facing them in 2023. Mentor-on-the-Lake Mayor David Eva is enthusiastic about the direction of the city as the community slowly continues to emerge from difficult years during the pandemic. "It was nice to get back to some form of 'normal' in 2022," the mayor said. Eva said highlights of 2022 included being able to have the fifth annual Fall Festival in September after a two-year absence.
