Feb. 24—Elle Welch and Stanley Sirrine enjoy good coffee and interesting places to drink it. The couple has turned those two loves into a growing business, which has led them to an iconic spot in Mentor. Welch and Sirrine have opened Lakeshore Coffee Company in the former Sisters Tea Room location — a recognizable yellow house at 8595 Mentor Ave., close to Center Street. It is their second store, with the original opening in Andover last July. The Mentor location opened earlier this month. What started as bonding over finding good coffee and new places to drink it on the weekends has blossomed into a multi-shop business, which has been very successful and fortunate for the couple for several reasons.
